Like the full-size MD 520 N helicopter, our model of the machine is powered by a turbine. A small auxiliary turbine located in the rear dome, operated using normal air, provides tail control. As on the original, the efflux nozzle is rotated to provide yaw control; in our case this is servo-operated.

In addition to the kit containing the 23-part GRP fuselage, you will need a Pahl GPH 70 turbine (Notar version) as well as the components illustrated hereafter.

This model is intended for experienced pilots.

For more information on the Notar system please refer to pages 166 and 213 of our Catalogue 12. If you wish to fly an MD 520 N with a glow motor, please note that we also offer a smaller version of the machine.
